When adult films were first made back in the 60s of the last century, they had actual plot lines, character development and were full-length. Lust Cinema is a studio that was started by an acclaimed adult filmmaker called Erika Lust. Her goal is to make real movies that will intrigue the viewer and have them invested in the story and the characters for more than just a few minutes. You’ll find no shortage of explicit sex scenes, but they are done in a more tasteful way.

Lust Cinema makes movies and series. As you would expect, the movies are between 90 to 120 minutes long, with a long storyline and character development. On average, they’ll have four sex scenes lasting around 15 minutes, but the longer ones will have more. Similarly, the series is much closer to traditional TV in style, running for about 30 minutes and having one long sex scene in it. While some have a darker and more serious tone, you can still find casual and humorous ones that are much closer to regular porn.

The performers, or creators, as they are referred to on Lust Cinema, are stars that more or less frequently appear in other adult media. Both the male and female talent is credited equally, but since we know our users, we’ll only mention a couple of the girls. The ones that stood out to use are Amarna Miller, Charlotte Satre, Alexis Crystal, Anny Aurora, Taylor Sands, Linda Sweet, Skye Blue, Andi James, Emylia Argan, and Lulu Chu. Frankly, we were all quite surprised at some of their acting abilities. While we already knew that they could fuck on camera with no problem, a couple put on genuinely impressive performances outside of the sex scenes too.

Quality takes time to make

Right now, Lust Cinema has 216 movies and 56 series, where each individual series has anywhere between one to eight episodes. A decent amount of content to start with, and the updates are surprisingly frequent. A new update is released every week, either a new episode of a series or a new movie. Considering the actresses in some of the more recent ones, we think that a lot of content has already been made and that they’re slowly releasing it to the public in a staggered manner. A naughty trick to keep you around, but we don’t mind.

The Lust Cinema website has its priority more on looking good than being user-friendly, but it’s still pretty easy to navigate. It looks the part of a fancy indie film studio, even with the nudity and porn involved. A stylish website with a dark blue background and a red-white color scheme. On the front page, you can find a selection of videos that you can sort by the latest release, or filter out movies, series, and some originals, although we haven’t noticed anything not made by Lust Cinema on here. The categorization isn’t perfect and gives you only a vague idea of what kinks and fetishes are covered.

While it does have a search bar, the results it shows are tied to the title of a video, the name of the performers or directors, and the few tags they use. While this isn’t your traditional porn site, we’d still love to be able to have a bit more information on the sexual content involved. If anything, they do label the gay and trans content, which is good since it doesn’t really appeal to everyone. And most confusing of all, despite being a movie-like site, they allow users to download their content.

A different approach to porn

It’s hard to say that Lust Cinema will be up everyone’s alley. The sexual content is very good and features some amazing actors and actresses, and the non-sexual stuff is written well. The few movies we watched were overall good, some a bit naïve while others did grab our attention even outside the sex scenes. The website is solid but might be a bit of a pain to use, and the search system isn’t very useful. All of the new content is in 4K, and available for download.
